3D printed microreactors

3D printing technology (such as selective laser melting technology, Selective Laser Melting, SLM) is an additive manufacturing technology that has emerged in recent years, and its high degree of freedom of forming provides a new way for the manufacture of complex microchannel reactors. ZSMR cooperated with the Institute of New Materials of Guangdong Academy of Sciences to use 3D printing technology to manufacture a continuous microchannel reactor with a large liquid holding capacity for the first time. The microchannel system has the advantages of good heat transfer performance, large specific surface area, large thermal conductivity, and high pressure. The integrated microchannel makes the reaction safer. The large specific surface area (1000-4000 m2) makes the reaction efficiency far exceeding that of the reactor. At the same time, the SLM microchannel system occupies a small area (about 10~36 m2), which can effectively save space and improve the efficiency of plant use. Now it has provided stable products and services for many chemical and pharmaceutical companies.
